Street Style
Street style is the grassroots evolution of fashion. Everyday people express themselves through their choice in clothing. Taking photographs of street fashion is a playful art form that requires respecting the individuals and also capturing their zest and originality. It’s a privilege to take these photos and for the chance to interact and meet amazing people.
For me, however, it is not just about the fashion. It is about doing something that document all the times I stop an individual to tell them I love what they’re wearing. And this is my way of sharing with every reader what I found interesting about the people in world this day / week / year.
It’s also a way of proving in my community, with the west coastal four seasons, that there is a vibrant fashion scene made up by the many fascinating people who dare to be themselves despite the weather. If “they” can do it in New York, then fashion can be anywhere!
