For the first full fledge Fashion Show, hosted at the Senior’s Expo and coordinated by Threaditorial founder, Teresa Lindsay – and it’s not going to be any ordinary show!
Models will parade the runway with gorgeous clothes by Canadian designers, from our cities beautiful boutique shops and Simon Chang is sending a specific collection JUST FOR THE SHOW!
What to expect:
Teresa is co-ordinating the show based on her beliefs and a new direction the Expo and Senior Living Magazine that will showcase “Style” is an attitude, a choice and way of expressing yourself regardless of size, shape, age or ability And whether you feel you posses great style or not you will love Teresa’s Winning Wardrobe opener followed by the incredible creative combinations selected to entertain your eyes – rich original fabric, bold colours and endless ideas!

Pre-Holiday Party & Soft Launch – Elate Cosmetics
and Fashions by Mused Clothing Company

Moments of spontaneous encouragement, wine, and good cheer leading up to the holidays burst around the studio as all the ladies attending tried on an array of dresses by Mused founder Lauralye and had a chance to get their make-up touch-ups by Eco- Elate Cosmetics founder Melodie Reynolds and stylist/make up artist Erin Bradley. Threaditorial founder Teresa Lindsay was on hand to add some suggested styling tips and help shoppers.
The dresses were ready to wear or a few women were able to make pre-orders for the upcoming collection by Muse. A fabulous sneak peek at December’s new Elate products and 2015 Spring’s lip colours were revealed by Melodie – so keep your eyes out for them coming soon!
The evening was entertaining and lively, best of all were the laughters of shared passions between these energetic and genuine ladies of style, beauty and fashion!

Fall 2014
The best season for great styles and fresh combinations in layers is back and with plenty plaid, florals and 90’s flashbacks but with a twist. All the fanfare was full of ideas and new looks to show-off the ensembles from the stores of Vancouver Island’s largest outdoor shopping plaza – Uptown!
The event was also a fundraiser for Cops for Cancer and had a list of host celebs.

Inner Harbour makes a FASHION SPLASH!
August 23rd, 2014
A bold runway set up on the main pier of the inner harbour, which extended just beyond the city’s Night Market, is where eleven local conscious fashion designers strut their stuff. A parade of modern, sexy, elegant and stunning pieces of women’s and menswear made colourful contributions to the evening’s sunset. The designers all had unique looks from casual, swimwear, sports wear, couture, recycled fashions, jewellery, hand-made silkscreen, and all eco-friendly in production.
Watch again for next year’s event and be sure to grab front row seat tickets to receive some extra goodies and a great view. These designers can be found in Victoria and online. Warm, west coast – Gap – super cheerful fall / winter colour!
Blue Suede – in between season weight and colour to perk up a grey days and most eye colours!
Details on rose cotton dress, both pretty & great for figure disguising certain areas!
Illusion of sides panels in black work well on dresses, vests, and tops.
Jeans – the trick to a shapely backside is determining the pocket is the appropriate size and centred on both cheeks.
The Little Black dress – in jersey gives year round options (easy to layer with) and comfort for days when loose is better.
A darker colour on bottom is always helpful if you want to appear taller. This dress is a great combination of colours!
Pop of colour during the winter can be used in accessories, especially when we tend to wear a lot of blacks.

Great coat with the bottom panel in black, very artsy and great to have the darker colour on bottom again.
Popular cotton dress has one exceptional benefit – pockets !!
Capes are so stunning and unexpected while everyone else throws on quilted jackets or wool coats. Love this colour!
Details in silkscreen create interest and allow play with coordinating additional coloured layers.
I wonder if they would allow this skirt into a science final?
Slight Cowl-neck and warm fuchsia – great colour for multiple skin types. With hidden pocket too.
